In fact, the wines 'closed down' for several years during the 90s but are now really coming into their own. Big, powerful wine with concentrated fruit and masses of firm tannins. Full-bodied, with a dry finish so typical of the Dow style. Drinking perfectly now, will keep till 2005 at least.
