It has a 4 stage detergent dispensing system to ensure that all additives are dispensed at exactly the right time, and its intelligent fuzzy logic detects if too much detergent has been added and adds extra rinses if required. It will also monitor the laundry load and rearrange it prior to spinning if it's out of balance. Keep an eye on the programme progress with the LED programme stage and time remaining indicators, or delay the start by up to 19 hours, either to use the machine overnight or to extend the time the laundry soaks in the wash solution.

The LED display not only shows programme time and so on, but also indicates if a fault is detected, with a F+ number. There is a guide in the instruction booklet to the F+ numbers, many of which refer to faults the user can fix. Otherwise an engineer needs to be called, but if he has the fault code he can ensure he brings any relevant parts.

All materials used in AEG machines are biodegradable or recyclable and have five layers on the cabinet finish, ensuring that even if the case is scratched, it will not rust.
